Cloud-In-Hand Mobile Attendance customers can enable password protection for the Serial Device Manager (SDM) settings. After enabling SDM password protection, user accounts using the Mobile Attendance application for Android will be able to access the Serial Device Manager and add/remove devices but will be unable to view or change global or individual device settings without the SDM password. This article demonstrates how to use iOS’s built-in NFC reader (made available to 3rd party applications in iOS 11) with Cloud-In-Hand® Mobile Grid.
