Scanfob Ultra-BB2

Ultra-BB2 Has been discontinued. See the Ultra-RE40e Scanfob® Ultra-BB2 is an Ultra-High Frequency (UHF – ISO 18000 EPC Class1 Gen2) reader/writer that transmits RFID card and tag data over Bluetooth. It is capable of reading EPC, TID, and user memory. The simple design and one push button make this reader/writer ideal for any use case. Users will also have the ability to write their software interface, giving them flexibility for their RFID needs. The Scanfob Ultra-BB2 is available in several variants based on the Bluetooth profiles it supports: BLE, HID/SPP, or MFi/SPP.

Scanfob qID Mini

The Scanfob® qID has an integrated antenna suited for short to medium range applications and, thanks to the Bluetooth communication interface, it is a perfect UHF RFID add-on for any Bluetooth enabled hosts such as a PC, a smartphone, a PDA or a tablet. The qID supports Bluetooth HID and Bluetooth SPP or Bluetooth SPP and Bluetooth iAP (MFi), depending on the model variant. To learn more, visit Scanfob qID Mini or download the spec sheet.

Scanfob NFC-BB2

The Scanfob® NFC-BB2 is an NFC reader/writer that transmits RFID card and tag data, including MIFARE* and ICODE, over Bluetooth. Its simple design and one push button make this reader/writer ideal for any use case. The Scanfob NFC-BB2 is available in several variants based on the Bluetooth profiles it supports: BLE, HID/SPP, or MFi/SPP. SPP

Bluetooth SPP (Serial Port Profile) is intended to replace RS-232 cables (or other serial communication interfaces). SPP is excellent for sending and receiving bursts of data/information between two devices.

Scanfob BB2

Scanfob BB2 refers to a subset of scanners that are nearly identical in their operation and setup requirements: the Scanfob NFC-BB2 (for NFC applications) and the Scanfob Ultra-BB2 (for UHF applications). Both BB2 scanners are available in several variants based on the Bluetooth profiles they support: BLE, HID/SPP, or MFi/SPP. Often, support articles will be tagged with “Scanfob BB2” if the instructions in the article are applicable to either of the two scanners. Scanfob 4000

The Scanfob® 4000 Bluetooth barcode scanner is a CCD barcode reader. CCD (Charged Coupling Device) barcode scanners use an imaging engine to take a picture of the barcode and then decode the characters. To learn more, see the Scanfob 4000 product page.
