SerialPort works with Java 1.x (1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8) applications and trusted applets. Java 1.0.2 is supported on Windows. If you need support for a platform we don’t currently support, we may be able to provide a custom port for you at a reasonable cost. When multiple developers will use SerialPort, multiple licenses need to be purchased. For example, if SerialPort is installed on a network then a license must be purchased for each developer who will have access to the files.
