Convenient Control Codes

Scan "Connectable" when pairing and connecting with SerialMagic software
Scan "Disconnect" to disconnect the Scanfob® 2002 Bluetooth radio and turn the Bluetooth radio off
Hint: Print these codes and tape them (under clear tape) on the back of the Android phone or Tablet.

Scan "Disconnect" to disconnect the Scanfob® 2002 Bluetooth radio and turn the radio off.
Scan "Reconnect" to reconnect since last connection to iOS, OS X, Windows, etc. - in keyboard mode.
Hint: Print these codes and tape them (under clear tape) on the back of the iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, Mac, PC
Note: When you connect the Scanfob® 2002 to one device e.g. iPhone, then connect to another device, you must pair it again to connect back to the
original device to use it again. Reconnect ONLY works when reconnecting with the LAST device the Scanfob® was Bluetooth connected with.

Scan "USB Keyboard" to use the Scanfob® 2002 barcode scanner like a keyboard on a USB cable connection
Scan "USB SerialMagic" to use the Scanfob® 2002 barcode scanner with SerialMagic software on a USB cable connection

Scan "Bluetooth-SPP" to use the Scanfob® 2002 barcode scanner with SerialMagic or similar app
Scan "Bluetooth-HID" to use the Scanfob® 2002 barcode scanner like Bluetooth keyboard

Scan "Data Only" and the Scanfob® 2002 will send only barcode data, NO prefix, NO suffix
Scan "Data then CR" and the Scanfob® 2002 will send barcode value then CR (use for Safari iOS)
Scan "Data then ENTER" and the Scanfob® 2002 will send barcode value then ENTER (use for Safari OS X)
Scan "Data then TAB" and the Scanfob® 2002 will send barcode value then TAB
Scan "Data then COMMA" and the Scanfob® 2002 will send barcode value then COMMA

Scan "CR after scan" for Scanfob® 2002 to send scan followed by a new line (no prefix characters)
Scan "Real-Time only" for Scanfob® 2002 to disable batch mode (will not store scans to memory)
*Note: scans are stored to memory even when sent in real-time over the cable.

Scan 10, 20, 30 minutes, etc to set the Bluetooth awake timer to that duration.
Scan Always awake to disable the Bluetooth automatically disconnecting at any point.

Scan "Positive and Negative" to read positive (black on white) and negative (white on black) barcodes
Scan "Positive only" to read positive (black on white) barcodes only

Keyboard Mode: Scan "Brokerforce Setup HID" for Scanfob® 2002 'Brokerforce mode' (sends "~" Data ENTER)
SerialMagic Mode: Scan "Brokerforce Setup SPP" for Scanfob® 2002 'Brokerforce mode' (sends STX "~" Data ENTER)

Scan "Full Code39" enables Scanfob® 2002 to process embedded control codes like TAB, etc.
 

Scanfob® 2002 Sounds

Defaults are: enable beeper/buzzer, high-low beeper/buzzer, 200 msec duration, max volume, and beep/buzz before transmission.
