Send SMS / TEXT During Emergency Headcount
First you connect to Cloud-In-Hand® Stratus-io Time & Attendance account that has Emergency Headcount SMS option. Second you create the emergency event using the admin login with a browser, or Stratus-io app user login. Note the user login device must have permission to create the emergency event. Third start your emergency by selecting the type (fire, tornado, active-shooter, etc) from drop-down or entering your emergency name. Note before doing selected TEXT / SMS the Stratus-io app setting App-Direct SMS Reply Number, must be set.
Select Person(s) For SMS / TEXT During Emergency Headcount
First tap the the Attendee List view icon, this example uses an iPad, Android is also supported. Second people use their RFID badge to check-in with the idChamp Badge Reader. Alternately muster captains will check people in manually when they forget their badge. Third tap Not Checked-in on Attendee List view find who’s not marked safe for your emergency. Forth tap the person(s) you want to send SMS / TEXT to.
Then tap the Send SMS icon in lower-right of Attendee List view.
Select SMS / TEXT Message & Customize
First you tap-and-hold on the Emergency Event name to get the template message options, then select the template you want.
Second you type additional information to for the message you need. Alternately, you simply make your message by typing, without using a template message
Finally you get the confirmation for the TEXT message(s) to send TEXT during emergency.
iPhone Example For SMS / TEXT Sending
First Cloud-In-Hand® Stratus-io Time & Attendance sends your SMS / TEXT, the user sees the TEXT in there Message app.
Next the user taps on the number link in the TEXT to reply. This is the number you set in the Stratus-io Time & Attendance app settings on your iPad/iPhone used to initiate the TEXT.
Finally you get reply from person(s) sent TEXT during emergency.
