Connect BlueSnap M6A to macOS
You wirelessly connect BlueSnap M6A to macOS post scale weights, caliper measurements, sensor readings, barcodes, RFID badges, NFC badges. First install and launch SerialMagic Scripts on macOS. Next power on the BlueSnap M6A and it shows up in the SerialMagic Scripts FOUND view.
Third select “Connect” next to the “BlueSnap DB9…” entry, to connect the M6A, then you see the connected view like below.

First note SerialMagic Scripts macOS default script is “Scan Alert”, when selected you see the value received in a pop-up. Now you want the scale weight posted at cursor location, then Enter key simulated. You double-click on the “Post scan + the Enter key” script so the circled checkmark as you see below.
Now you post scale (or other data) to the cursor location on your Mac. See in this example the BlueSnap M6A is connect to a Ohaus Ranger 3000 scale and 3 items are weighed. First check the cursor on the Mac is where you want it. Second put the item on the scale. Third press the print button. You see the wights posted in the SerialMagic Scripts Activity Log as shown below.
Finally you see the weights from the Ohaus Ranger 3000 scale posted to the cursor location. Here the Text app is used.
