Required for this tutorial: a Scanfob® qID Mini with the Constant Read Mode firmware upgrade*
Step 1. Hold down the scan button for three seconds. You will see either “CMODE ON” or “CMODE OFF.” CMODE Stands for Constant Read Mode. 
Step 2. To toggle CMODE, hold down the scan button again for three seconds. This will toggle constant read mode either ON or OFF, depending on the previous value of CMODE. Note that the CMODE state remains either ON or OFF, even after rebooting the device.
