How To Setup Your Geofence For Automatic Check-in/out
First login to your Cloud-in-hand® Stratus-io Time & Attendance account with Geofence option enabled.
Second, go to EVENTS > GEOFENCES and select Add New.
Third enter the building address for the location you want to setup building geofence attendance, and click Find.
Now you see the map view for the location and you draw your geofence around your building, or job-site area.
Now, with the building for geofence attendance in view, make the geofence using the polygon or the circle option. Zoom up as needed on your building or job-site to allow most accurate geofence position.
Finally enter the name for the geofence and select Save.

Building Geofence Attendance For Many Locations
You’ve seen how easy it is to setup your building geofence attendance for one location. How do you handle managing may geofences when you have multiple budlings and job-sites?
Geogroups (geofence groups) makes this easy. First you create your geofences as shown above, then make a geofence group(s), adding geofences to groups as needed.
Next see the geofence made above is added to the geogroup “Schools”.
Automatic Check-in and Check-out
First, employees, contractors, students, staff, and other persons check-in and check-out simply by entering and leaving the building or job-site.
Here you see the person has Cloud-In-Hand® Stratus-io Remote Check-in App on the iPhone and “Schools” geogroup (1). Next he enters the building and is checked-in to the geofence “LV-ISD Middle Bldg1” (2).
