I have a rather sizable library, containing hundreds of books. A few days prior to ordering the LaserChamp and SerialMagic, I discovered a bit of software called Readerware, which looks up ISBNs on various Internet sites and catalogs personal libraries in a very detailed database. The ability of the LaserChamp to store up to 500 ISBNs and then import them into the Readerware program in a batch process is a particularly welcome feature. There’s no need for me to carry the laptop, the cables, and the scanner with me from place to place as I collect the ISBNs. I’ve had the LaserChamp for a few weeks now, and I am very happy with it!
