The Terminal Applet Demo Opera 6 Note
Unfortunately the Java Plug-in installer (as of 1.3) does not bother to look for Opera during the install. You should be able to make it work however (we have tested it successfully on a number of machines). If you get this msg when running Termlet with Opera
Then do the following. 1.Download and install the JDK/JRE 1.4 version (the JDK will normally install the JRE). 2. Check Opera's Plug-ins folder (usually C:\Program Files\Opera\Plug-ins) to see if the files "NPJava32.dll", "NPJava11.dll", and "NPJava12.dll" have been placed there during installation of the Java plug-in. If they aren't in Opera's Plug-ins folder already, find them in the Java plug-in's "bin" folder (usually C:\Program Files\Java\j2re.1.4.0\bin) and copy them into Opera's Plug-ins folder 3. Then, Preferences > Associate > Find plug-ins and Opera will associate the plug-in with Java. |
