Setup BlueSnap configuration wirelessly using SerialMagic Pro - Windows
With SerialMagic Professional for Windows, it is easy to modify BlueSnap settings, wirelessly!
Just download and install SerialMagic Professional on your Windows machine, and then launch the software.

Under Connection, select "Add" and define the proper connection parameters.
In this example, we are connecting to the BlueSnap Rs232 using a BlueSnap USB module attached to the PC.
If you are using Windows Bluetooth, you will have to first pair the BlueSnap RS232 and the PC from the Control Panel.
Click OK and you will return to the main screen of SerialMagic.

Go to Tools > Setup Remote BlueSnap (Note: older versions of SerialMagic will show "Configure" in place of "Setup"), and ensure the BlueSnap is powered up, and NOT Bluetooth Connected.

Follow the prompts...

The greed LED indicator on the unit will blink slowly if it is active and ready to be discovered.

Searching for Bluetooth devices. This may take a minute or more...

SerialMagic will then list the Bluetooth devices found. Select the BlueSnap module you wish to configure.
In this case, we are connecting to a BlueSnap Standard "BlueSnap-31F3."

Now SerialMagic will prompt you to Power OFF the BlueSnap. Next, power the BlueSnap back on.
After a few moments you will notice the LED light on the unit begin to blink rapidly, SerialMagic is reading the device settings.

Once the current configuration settings have been read, SerialMagic will display "BlueSnap Info."
Modify these settings to work with the other devices of your application.
Settings that have been modified will appear in red.

Click Save to save the configuration. And you're done!
